These use cornflakes for a bit of a crunch. I don't like cornflakes and didn't want to buy a big box, but my husband did have some raisin bran in the house (blech!) so I used bran flakes instead (no raisins). The cookies were really good, despite my position on cornflakes :)

What you need:
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups crushed cornflakes
- 1 to 2 cups chocolate chips
Beat butter and sugar together.
Add baking soda, salt, vanilla, and eggs to the butter-sugar mixture.
Add in flour. Stir in cornflakes and chocolate chips.
Roll into walnut-sized balls and place 12 to a baking sheet.
